Phyllis Ann Gleason, age 86 passed away peacefully May 3, 2026 at the New Hampshire Veterans Home, Tilton, NH.

Phyllis was born May 22, 1939, in WaKeeney, Kansas. She served as a Nurse in the United Stated Air Force. Following her work in the Air Force she worked at several locations as her husband was a Sergeant in the Air Force and they traveled to many locations throughout his career. She raised two sons, and her hobbies included sewing, crocheting and various crafts.

She is survived by three brothers: Randy, Tom and Doug; her stepson George Gleason and Sharon of Hudson, NH, her stepdaughter Cheryl Dessert and Don of Bridgewater, NH.; her grandchildren: Katherine Siler and Wes of Navarre, FL., Jennifer Gleason of Hudson, NH, Christopher Gleason and Shelby of New Haven, CT., Matthew Gleason and Kathryn of Ballston Lake, NY, Mandy Hotovy and Justin of Big Sky, MT, Kristen Kucel and Dan of Ambridge, PA., Stephen Gleason and Sara of Myrtle Beach, SC., Samuel Gleason and Cayle of Edwards, CA., and 7 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband George Wallace Gleason, her son John Wesley Gleason and her son Eric Thane Gleason.

A private Military burial for the family will occur on June 26, 2026, at 2:00PM at the Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Shriners Children’s; both organizations Phyllis held close to her heart.
