Phyllis A. Page

Phyllis Aredna (Moore) Page, 88, of Concord, died Thursday, June 5, 2008, at New Hampshire Odd Fellows Home. She was a lifelong resident of Loudon, born July 20, 1919, to Karl C. and Inez (Osborne) Moore. She attended a one-room schoolhouse through eighth grade in Loudon Ridge and graduated from Concord High School in 1937. She graduated from Concord Business School in 1939. She worked for several years as a Avon representative in Loudon, and after 25 years, retired from New Hampshire Savings Bank, where she worked in the safe deposit area. She volunteered for several years with the Havenwood nursing home facility. She was a member of the Mary Butler Chapter of the DAR since 1992. She was a lifelong member of the Family Bible Church, where she taught Sunday school; and also attended Laconia Evangelical Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking and gardening; and was an avid walker, often braving all weather conditions. She also enjoyed world traveling. Survivors include two sons, Stuart Page and his wife, Betty, and Royal Page Jr. and his wife, Eileen, all of Loudon; one brother, Wendell Moore of Loudon; one sister, Barbara Burtt of Lee, Mass.; six grandchildren, Kelly Sedgley and her husband, Robert, of Loudon, Heather Sanititto and her husband, Angelo, and Sarah Long and her husband, Ryan, all of Epsom, and Jason, Nicole and Stephen Page, all of Loudon; three great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Abigael and Collin Sedgley; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Royal Laurentine Page, who died in 1974, and she never married again. Graveside services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Loudon Ridge Cemetery. Memorial services will follow at Family Bible Church, 661 Lower Ridge Road, Loudon. Memorial donations may be made to the Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association, Hospice Program, P.O. Box 1797, Concord 03302-1797.
