Phyllis Dolson Ware, 71, formerly of West Lebanon, NH died on Wednesday, April 14, 2004. At the time of death, she was a resident of the Genesis Elder Care Center in Lebanon, NH. Ms. Ware was the daughter of the late Elizabeth M. Hartmann Dolson and Harold F. Dolson. Ms. Ware was a graduate of Beacon High School, Beacon, NY and a 1955 graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University, Delaware, OH with a BA in Psychology; also a member of Kappa Gamma Charter. Ms. Ware was employed through her life as a personal trainer at New York University, New York City, NY; IBM, Poughkeepsie, NY; Dept of Army Special Services, New York City, NY; Public Schools teacher in Hartland, VT and Springfield, VT from 1961-1971. Before retiring in 1997, Ms. Ware was the owner of Phyllys Gift Shop at the Lebanon Airport, Lebanon, NH. She was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Upper Valley, Norwich, VT. She is survived by; her son, Jesse Pratt Ware III of York, ME; one sister, Barbara Rogers Savage of Keymar, MD; niece Sue Cariola and nephew Bill Rogers of Frederick, MD; cousin, John Knapp and wife Judy Knapp of Eastport, ME; two great nieces and 4 great nephews; Nikoel Rogers, Caitlyn Rogers, Joe Cariola, Chris Rogers, Michael Cariola and John Rogers. Ms. Ware will be cremated at her request and a memorial service and interment will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date in Fishkill Rural Cemetery, Fishkill, NY.
