They also spent many summers in the beautiful seaside village of Watch Hill, Rhode Island. She retired in 1992 and moved to Peterborough to be with her daughter. She was a wonderful mother and friend. She never had a harsh word for anyone and fully enjoyed life. She was pre-deceased by her parents and a sister, Dr. Nancy Waggoner. She leaves her daughter Susan Elliott-Davis, and son-in-law Adam Davis of Peterborough, her nieces Martha Nakamura of Santa Fe, New Mexico and Amy Brothers of Sealy, Texas.
