Priscilla Marjorie (Maddix) Southwick, age 82, of Dover, New Hampshire passed away at her home on January 19 surrounded by loving family. She was born June 19, 1921 in Gloucester, Massachusetts to Marjorie (Tucker) and Harold Maddix. She raised her family in Gloucester and Wakefield Mass, and worked in a variety of settings including Sylvania, Transitron, and Dynatech Corporation and managed her family's auto school. She was an avid square dancer and bicyclist, and loved traveling to Texas, Mexico, Florida and California to enjoy the outdoors, birds, and butterflies. She is survived by her loving husband, Charles Southwick of Dover, NH. She is the beloved mother of Joan (Nelson) Low and her husband Robert of Gloucester Mass., Eric Nelson and his wife Nancy of Topsfield, Mass., Deborah Nelson and her partner Ingrid Johnson of Ipswich, Mass., and Dana Nelson and his wife Barbara of Rowley, Mass. She is the much cherished grandmother of Caitlin Nelson of Portland Maine, Erica Nelson of Washington, DC, Sarah and David Nelson of Rowley, MA, and Vanny Ann Nelson of Ipswich MA. She is survived as well by a brother, Harold Maddix of Wenham, a sister, Janet (Maddix) Costa of Ormond Beach, Florida, and a sister Lois (Maddix) Minnichiello of Exeter, NH as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be private.
