Quentin Everett "Chaing" Martin, 94, of Berwick, Maine died at New London Hospital on November 27, 2002. He was born August 21, 1908 in Dedham Ma. to Edward James Martin and Elizabeth M. Ellis. Mr. Martin was educated in Dedham and Boston Ma. He served in the Canadian Army in North Africa from 1940 till 1942 and then served in the United States Army as Lineman in the 3345th Signal Corps. He was General Manager of Triangle Telephone company in Lempster and later retired from Raytheon Company. He was married to Emeline Cragin who passed away in 1973. He later married Madeline Fouriner in 1981 who passed away in 1995. Mr. martin had no children. He was pre deceased by his sisters, Tess Martin and Prudence Nichols. He is survived by nieces, Janet McGray and family, Barbara Carignan and family, and by a nephew, Gary E. Nichols and family. He was a ham radio operator whose call letters were W1EMW. He was an avid artist, archer, tattoo artist and photographer. He was member of Profile Bowmen Horseshoe Club, Member of Masons, and former member of the Grange.
