Rachel Rioux (Trempe) 79, of Manchester, NH passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 28, 2024.
Rachel was born on February 26, 1945, in Nashua, NH, the daughter of the late Amedee J.B. Trempe and Marie Jeanne (Claveau) Trempe. In addition to her parents, Rachel was predeceased by her devoted husband of forty-four years, Jacques Rioux, as well as her sisters Loretta Forcier and Yolande Trempe.
Rachel graduated from St. Louis High School, in Nashua, NH and was a resident of Merrimack, NH for 37 years before moving to Manchester, NH. Prior to retirement, she was employed by Dartmouth Hitchcock in Milford, NH. Rachel enjoyed camping, having traveled across the country, her trips to Canada, music and dancing, and her many regular chats sharing and caring with those closest to her. Most of all Rachel loved being surrounded by her family and friends and treasured every moment with them.
Those left to cherish her beautiful memory are her sons, Henri Dionne, Jr. of Center Harbor, NH, Steven Dionne and wife Annemarie of Manchester, NH, Cory Dionne, Sr. and wife Melissa of Merrimack, NH and David Rioux of Nashua, NH; her grandchildren, Sydney Bernaby, Ashley Reidy, Evan Dionne, Cory Dionne, Jr., Benjamin Dionne, Shea Marquardt, Jacob Marquardt, and Robert Fennall; and many nieces and nephews. Rachel will be deeply missed by her beloved sister, Rita Dolbeare of Nashua, NH and by all her family and dear friends.
A Catholic Mass will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at 10:00 am at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 777 West Hollis St in Nashua, NH with a cemetery committal to follow immediately at St Louis Cemetery in Nashua. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 15 Constitution Drive, Suite 1G, Bedford, NH 03110, a cause very near and dear to Rachel’s heart.
