Rae C. (Fiske) Andrade, 81, of Whitefield, NH, formerly of Warwick, RI, passed away from CML at her home on August 5, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Providence, RI, to the late Raymond R. and Doris A. (Fritche) Fiske.

Rae worked for Citizens Bank for 27 years before retiring in 2008. Some of her favorite things to do were observing the interesting behavior of birds and squirrels in the yard, listening to 50's and 60's music, shopping, doing crossword puzzles, watching the Game Show Network, and eating peanut butter M&M's—not necessarily in that order. She loved to be the life of the party and never missed a chance to get into character for holidays and cookouts. Her goal was to bring joy and make everyone smile. Those who knew Rae knew she appreciated a "good, strong bag with handles." It was a thing that always made us smile; if we ever made the mistake of trying to throw one away, she would let us know the error of our ways.

She is survived by her daughter, Melissa, and son by marriage, Tim Raposa, who were her dedicated caregivers for the last four years of her life; her son, Robert F. Andrade, and grandson, Robert C. Andrade, both of Warwick, RI; her granddaughter, Cassidy Raposa of Seattle, WA; and her great-grandson, Mason Speede of Brookfield, CT. She was the sister of Gladys Fiske of RI and Maryland D'Ovidio of TN, and leaves behind numerous, much-loved, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Hopelynn Butler, and her sisters, Virginia (Peachie) DiFolco and Doris M. Cole.

In respect to her wishes, she was cremated, and no public services will be held at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, and details will be shared when finalized.

Those who knew and loved her can remember her in their own way—maybe by doing a crossword puzzle, taking a moment to enjoy the beauty of nature, appreciating a "good, strong bag with handles," or eating a bag of her beloved peanut butter M&M's. She will be deeply loved, forever missed, and remembered always.
