Mr. Ralph L. Carrington Jr. 86, of Rochester, NH passed away peacefully on Christmas Day at 4:00pm 12/25/2017.
He was born and raised in Haverhill, MA. on May 13th, 1931. He was the first-born son of the late Ralph and Sylvia Carrington. He served in the US Army in 1949-1950. He worked at Malden Mills in Lawrence, MA for 20 years. He married Marjorie Jean Bixby in 1957. He is survived by 5 children - Terry Boguslawski, Brenda Tuttle, Guy Carrington, Robert Carrington, and Donald Carrington. And 2 grandchildren – Matthew Carrington and Fawn Boguslawski. He is also survived by 2 brothers – Frank Carrington and David Carrington, and 2 sisters – Sylvia McComisky and Laurel Senter. And many nephews and nieces, as well.
Ralph was a member of the Eagles Club for 60 years. He last attended the Eagles Club in Somersworth, NH and served as the chaplain there. He was also a member of the American Legion.
Ralph loved his family, which he always enjoyed spending time with, along with his friends, whom he had many. His favorite things to do were dancing and singing karaoke. He enjoyed listening to and singing country music.
The memorial service calling hours will be at the Salmon Falls Church of Christ, 336 Salmon Falls Road Rochester, NH 03866 on Saturday, January 13th, 2018 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.
