Ralph R. Corette, affectionately known as Rick to family and friends, passed away peacefully at the Jack Byrne Center on August 14 at the age of 90. He faced the challenges of dementia in his later years with courage and dignity.

Rick was born on July 19, 1936, in Lebanon, New Hampshire. He spent many years with his wife, Chris Corette, and their children in California. Later in life, he returned to the Upper Valley to care for his aging parents.

Rick enjoyed a distinguished career as a Certified Public Accountant. During his professional life, he worked for Flying Tigers, a company heavily involved in military and commercial air transport during the 1960s. He later served as a CPA for Sunkist in California, where he earned the respect of colleagues through his dedication, integrity, and commitment to excellence.

An avid outdoorsman, Rick found great joy in fishing, hunting, and downhill skiing. He was especially proud of the fishing trophies he earned while competing in tournament fishing events. In his youth, he was an accomplished basketball player at Lebanon High School, and his passion for the sport remained with him throughout his life. In later years, he greatly enjoyed following and supporting Lebanon High School basketball.

Rick is survived by his devoted wife, Carol A. Corette; his children, Melissa Mulligan and her husband, Steve Mulligan, Erika Corette, Gretchen Corette, and Andrew Corette; his stepson, Timothy A. Clifford; his stepdaughter, Laurie L. Fox; and her husband Dana N. Fox; and his stepdaughter-in-law, LeeAnn Wilson (Clifford). He was predeceased by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Corette, and his stepson, Mark A. Clifford.
