Ralph E. Miltimore, 69, of Bedford, NH died February 12, 2008 at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon following a brief illness.
He was born on April 28, 1938 in Nashua, NH the son of Ralph I and Marjorie (Deakes) Miltimore. He graduated from West High School in Manchester and attended college in Boston. He was a resident of Bedford for 34 years.
He worked as a printer in NH and Massachusetts for 45 years prior to retiring. He also operated Miltimore Greenhouses for 30 years. After retiring he drove school bus for Manchester transit for the past several years.
He enjoyed spending time on Cape Cod with his daughter and two granddaughters. He also loved gardening, fishing and bowling.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Joanne (Martin) Miltimore of Bedford; daughter, Tara Miltimore of Orleans, MA; 2 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Frances Wiggin of Bedford and Mardi Covill of San Diego, CA and several nieces and nephews.
In His Life: He is survived by his granddaughters, Cate Miltimore and Avery Miltimore both of Orleans, MA.
There are no calling hours. His Funeral Service will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ralphâs name can be made to the Greater Manchester Red Cross, 1800 Elm Street, Manchester, NH 03104.
