Raymond D. Jutras

Raymond Donald Jutras, age 85 died on January 28, 2022, with his wife Carol by his side and less than two weeks away from his 86^th birthday.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Carol, of Hooksett, NH; daughters Cheryl Grant and husband Christopher Grant of Londonderry, NH, and Ronda Hatin, married to Joel Hatin of Hooksett, NH; his sister Lucille Lyonnais of St. Augustine, FL. He leaves behind four grandchildren: Tyler Grant, Morgan Grant, Retta Hatin and Reese Hatin.

He is preceded in death by his father Romeo Jutras and Laura Doiron Jutras both of Manchester, NH; his sister Rachel Dalphond of Clearwater, FL.

Raymond was born in Manchester, NH, to parents Romeo and Laura. Raymond was a custom builder and contractor who was best known for his fine wood working skills. He was an enthusiast about cars, trucks, and antiques. His family and friends will forever remember the ornate basement filled with refurbished antiques and custom décor he created in the house he personally built for his family. Ray also loved giving back to the community through local organizations. He was an active member of Easter Seals and the Hooksett Lions Club, for many years, where he was awarded “Lion of the Year.”  He was truly a big-hearted, honest man, and a handshake was his bond.

Raymond recently celebrated his 51^st wedding anniversary and was a longtime resident of Hooksett, NH. Per Raymond’s wishes, there will be no public services. A private celebration of life was held by the immediate family.
