Raymond Neal Savage

Raymond N. Savage, 78, of Deering died Friday January 2, 2004 at Concord Hospital. Mr. Savage was born in upstate N.Y. to Neal and Elizabeth Savage on August 4, 1925. He was a World War II veteran and retired from the U.S. Navy after twenty years of service. He lived in New Jersey before moving to New Hampshire in 1977. He drove a school bus for many years for Valley Transportation. He enjoyed weightlifting and woodcarving. He was predeceased by his wife Violet. Family members include a step-daughter, Trisha Prinz of Deering, a step-son, Peter Prinz and his wife Suzanne of Manchester, a son, Raymond Savage, four grandchildren and one great grandchild. A memorial service will be held on Saturday January 10, 2004 at 2:00 PM at the Hillsborough United Methodist Church in Hillsborough, NH.
