It is with profoundly heavy hearts that we are pronouncing the passing of our loved one, Raymond H. St. Onge, born on February 19, 1961, and passed on August 31, 2025.
Raymond was the beloved husband and soulmate of May St. Onge for 36 years; father of Raymond St. Onge Jr. and Natahsha St. Onge, along with their mother, Tina St. Onge; “Daddy” to his “special” sister-in-law, Linda Guillemette, who he loved, adored and cared for over the past 25 years and whom she had wrapped around her finger; his sister, Claire St. Onge; brothers-in-law, Mark Witkowski and Manny Gomes; sisters-in-law, Jeanette St. Onge, Deborah Gomes, and Tricia Guillemette; special brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Pat and Esther Haskins; special nephew and niece, Bradley and Veronica Haskins. They always gave their unwavering support over the last two extremely difficult years for Ray, May and Linda. Ray is also survived by his nephews and nieces, James St. Onge and his wife Holly, Cindy St. Onge, Cathy St. Onge and her husband John, Mark Witkowski Jr. and his wife Ravyn, Kiera Macaroco and her husband Steven, and Brittany Willett and her husband Erik; his great-nephews and a great-niece, Christopher, St. Onge, Jacob St. Onge, Donovan St. Onge, Walker Willett, and Evelyn Guillemette; as well as his mother-in-law, Tina Goulet. Ray was predeceased by his parents, Maurice and Theresa St. Onge, and his siblings, Paul St. Onge and Linda Witkowski.
Ray attended Manchester West Schools. He was a retired Boston Union Carpenter who was forced into early retirement after a long and courageous battle with cancer over the past decade. He loved his scratch tickets, Foxwoods slots, and enjoyed many cruises to the islands with his beloved, caring wife. He also enjoyed watching all the old movies and game shows on TV. Most of all, he loved coming home to his family and their home on Daniels Lake over the past twenty years.
Ray worked very hard to provide for his family, who he loved with all his heart and soul and always put before himself. He will be best remembered for his kindness and generosity and will be profoundly missed by all the lives he touched.
The St. Onge family would like to thank the Dartmouth Hitchcock Cancer Center, “Dr. Saleem”, Dr. Linda Kornfield from Elliot Palliative care, Elliot ICU where he spent his last few days, and to all who helped Ray remain at home and supported his family during this difficult time.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 12th at 10:00AM at Ste. Marie Parish, 378 Notre Dame Ave, Manchester, NH. Family and friends are invited to attend.
