Rene J. Bergeron

Rene J. Bergeron, 78 of Manchester, NH, died on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Bedford Hills Nursing facility after a long illness.

Rene was born on July 14, 1943 in Berlin, NH, the son of the late Rene and Beatrice (Gagne) Bergeron. He was a proud Air Force veteran and was stationed at Vanenberg AFB in California from 1963-1967.

Prior to retirement, Rene was owner of Rene Robert salon in Manchester. In his 45 years of doing hair and makeup, he was proud to have worked for many television stations during the presidential primaries, doing hair and makeup for many politicians.

Rene leaves behind his husband and soulmate of 38 years, Keith Campbell of Manchester, NH; his six siblings whom he loved so much, Janet Mercier and her husband Larry of Berlin, NH, Robert Bergeron and his wife Alice of Florida, Norman Bergeron and his wife Lenore of Milan, NH, Darlene Lemieux of Florida, Louise Christiansen of Florida, and Helen Hodgman and her husband Guy of Berlin, NH; as well as many nieces and nephews.

There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held in the spring in Berlin, NH. In lieu of flowers, we ask you to raise a glass and toast to the never boring life Rene had. He will be missed by all.
