Rev. John D. Crandall

Rev. John D. Crandall passed away on August 8, 2023, peacefully at home in Bedford, NH at the age of 86. He was a loving husband to his wife Mary Beth Crandall, and a loving father and Grandad. He leaves son John Charteris Crandall and daughter Mary Elizabeth (Meg) MacDonald along with nine grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife Mary Ludlow Crandall and son William Robert Crandall. 

Rev. Crandall’s life calling was as a priest in the Episcopal Church. He retired in December 1999 from All Saints Episcopal Church in Attleboro, MA after 15 years and 30 years of priesthood. 

He proudly served as an ensign in US Navy from 1959-1964.

During his retirement Rev. Crandall enjoyed his home in Tavares, FL and traveling with his family before moving to Bedford, NH to be closer to family. 

Per John’s request a private memorial family service was held on August 12,2023.
