Reynaldo Esquill Ortego Sr., 72, of Manchester, formerly from the Philippines, died on February 18, 2018. Born September 22,1945 in Capul, Philippines, he was son of the late Zoilo and Irene Ortego. He enjoyed 48 years of marriage with his wife, Yolanda Ortego.
Reynaldo was a commercial and recreational fisherman from the Philippines. He loved the sea. He was an avid sports fan who loved boxing and basketball. He enjoyed watching the news and world history. He loved reading and finding comfort in the bible. Most of all, he loved seeing his wife, children, and grandchildren happy.
Survivors include his daughter, Maria Modtland and her husband Brian of Manchester, NH; son Reynaldo Ortego Jr. and his wife Adolfa, daughter Salvacion Cabacang, and son Neil Ortego, all of the Philippines; brothers Medardo, Alfredo and Santos, all of the Philippines; grandchildren Irene, Mikayla, Zhareen, JohnJohn, Geoff and Stephen; as well as extended family members and friends. In addition to his parents, Reynaldo was predeceased by several siblings.
A celebration of life will be Sunday, February 25th, with a gathering starting at 11:30am and service at 12:30pm at The Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH.
