Richard K. Abbott, 82, of Nashua and formerly of Merrimack died suddenly on September 18, 2004 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Nashua. Mr. Abbott was born on March 8, 1922 in Northfield, NH the son of the late Willis and Hazel (Davis) Abbott. He was educated and graduated form the Tilton School in 1940. Mr. Abbott then went on to serve in the U S Army and was a World War II veteran. He saw combat and was stationed in both Italy and North America. Family members include; one son, Robert K. Abbott and his wife, Elaine of Denver, Colorado; one grandson, Kristopher Abbott also of Denver, Colorado; one brother, Robert J. Abbott of Atlanta, Georgia; one sister, Dorothy Call of Pepperell, MA; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Suaco (Oura) Abbott who died in 2003 and by two brothers, Donald Abbott and Bernard Abbott. A private ceremonial scattering was held Tuesday.
