Richard N. Black, 61, of Belmont died suddenly on October 23, 2004 at Lakes Region Hospital in Laconia. Mr. Black was born on February 6, 1943 in Boston, MA the son of Hyman "Teddy" and Mary (Shapiro) Black. He was a lifelong resident of Boston and moved to his summerhouse in Belmont permanently in the late 1980's. He was in the shoe industry in Massachusetts and was employed at Wal-Mart in Tilton for the past 10 years. He enjoyed attending musical theatre and the movies. Family members include: his partner of 27 years, Alfred Silva of Belmont; his mother of Fall River, MA; one brother, William Black and his wife Eileen Rosenberg-Black of Providence, RI; two nieces, Ellen Jacobs of Randolph, MA and Jessica Black of Providence, RI; two nephews, Stephen Black of Dartmouth, MA and Benjamin Black of Providence, RI; and several greatnieces and greatnephews.
