Richard W Blaisdell

Richard (Dick) W. Blaisdell, 89, of Derry, NH born May 3, 1932 in Lynn, MA passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at The Parkland Medical Center. He is predeceased by his beloved wife of 68 years Jacqueline L.(Sherman) Blaisdell, his parents Kenneth Blaisdell and Dorothy (Malloy) Blaisdell of Somersworth, NH and his brother Robert Blaisdell of Las Vegas, NV.

Richard retired from General Motors of Framingham, MA after 31 years. He and his wife loved camping and traveled throughout the United States for twenty-five years. Richard also loved to play golf, do crossword puzzles, watch old western shows/movies and spend time with his family.

He is survived by his five children, Linda Rousseau of West Boylston, MA; Richard Blaisdell and his wife Mary of Millsboro, Delaware; Cheryl Bartlett of Forestdale, RI; Robert Blaisdell and his wife Jill of Lunenburg, MA; and Dianne Howe of Hudson, MA. He is also survived by his sister Marcia (Blaisdell) Topscott of Dover, NH. He has seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

The family will have a Celebration of Richard’s Life in the Spring that will be announced at a later date.
