Richard H. Daggy, 86, of High Bridge Road, Francestown died on January 21, 2001 at his home after a lengthy illness. Mr. Daggy was born on August 23, 1914 in St. Paul, Minnesota the son of the late Richard Leo and Ida Helan (Bartels) Daggy. He graduated from the University of Minnesota and then joined the US Navy where he served in WWII. He returned home and taught Biology at the University of Minnesota. Mr. Daggy became the Medical Director for the American Arabian Oil Company in Dhahran for seventeen years and was then invited to teach public health at Harvard University where he remained for ten years. He then became the Acting Dean for the School of Public Health at Harvard University. In the early 1990's he was the Director of the Audubon Society in Concord. Family members include; one son Hormoz Soheili of New Boston; one sister Mrs. Lorraine Zweig of Tryon, North Carolina; and three nephews.
