Richard J. Day

Richard J. Day, Sr, 68, of Manchester died at his home on December 12, 2002. He was born in Ashland, NH on January 5, 1934, the son of the late Louis G. and Theresa (Cote) Day and had been a resident of Manchester for most of his life. Richard was a graduate of Bishop Bradley High School and worked 22 years in the printing industry and 17 years as a custodian. Family members include his wife of 13 years, Anita M. (St. Onge) Day of Manchester, two sons, Michael J. Day of Manchester and Richard J. Day, Jr., of Virginia, his predeceased son Raymond Day, two daughters, Kathy Massad of Georgia and Laurie Day of Manchester, two step daughters, Corrine Walker of Weare and Jennifer Trudeau of Manchester, nine grandchildren, a brother Harry Day of Michigan, several nieces, nephews and cousins. SERVICES: A Memorial Reception will take place at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover Street on Monday from 9 to 10 AM with a service to follow in the Chapel at 10:00.
