DERRY, NH — Richard (Dick) W. Harrow, 89, of Aladdin Circle passed away peacefully on January 13th at the Bedford Hills Center. Dick was born in Cambridge, MA on April 21, 1935, the son of Francis S. Harrow and Ingeborg Harrow (Erickson). After attending Arlington High School, Dick enlisted in the US Navy in 1953 where he served as a Radarman 3rd class primarily aboard the USS Johnnie Hutchins. Dick was awarded the National Defense Service Medal for his wartime service and was honorably discharged in 1956.
After his military service, Dick began his career in the construction industry and soon formed his own company, Richard Harrow Construction. Dick also had a great fondness for animals, caring for many dogs and cats throughout his life.
