Richard Hough

Richard James Hough, 67, died Saturday, April 22, 2023 at the Granite VNA Hospice House, Concord, NH.

He was born on March 12, 1956 in Boston, MA, the son of the late James and Patricia (Fenton) Hough. Raised and educated in Stoughton, MA, Richard was a graduate of Stoughton High School. He was a longtime resident of Stoughton before moving to Concord, NH. He worked many years as a truck driver and a handyman.

Richard was always making those around him laugh. In his free time, he enjoyed watching Boston Sports and NASCAR, and loved classic cars and fishing.

Richard is survived by his daughter, Jennifer and her partner Courtney of Peabody, MA; son, Tyler, of Stoughton, MA; granddaughter, Chandler of Peabody, MA; two sisters, Patricia Tartaglia of Weare, NH, and Cheryl Sullivan and husband John of Weare, NH; brother, Dale Hough and wife Sharon of Stoughton, MA; niece, Nicole; three nephews, Joshua, Shane and Brendan; along with a great-nephew, Dominic. He leaves behind many friends and cousins. In addition to his parents, Richard was predeceased by his nephew, John Tartaglia, Jr.; and brother-in-law, John Tartaglia.

SERVICES: His Graveside Service will be held on Monday, May 1 at 11:00AM at Evergreen Cemetery, 1100 Washington St, Stoughton, MA. Family and friends are invited to attend. Assisting the family with arrangements is the Cremation Society of NH, Boscawen. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Richard’s memory to the Granite VNA Hospice House, 240 Pleasant St, Concord, NH 03301.
