Richard L. Jameson Jr., 76, of Raymond, NH and Topac, AZ died January 3, 2007 at Valley View Medical Center in Arizona.
Son of Richard L Jameson Sr. and Blanche (Richardson) Jameson, he was born on July 31, 1930 in Methuen, MA.
He served in the US Navy and later during the Korean Conflict he served in the US Army.
He worked for RCA in Burlington, MA until his retirement.
He enjoyed woodworking, working on his boat, vacationing in Arizona and being with his family and friends.
He was the widower of Patricia R. Jameson who died August 20, 2004. He was also predeceased by his son Timothy P. Jameson who died in 1984.
He leaves 2 sons, Richard R. Jameson of Derry and Randy R. Jameson of Raymond; 3 daughters, Kim Smith of Raymond, Debbie Lynch of Derry, and Dawn Jameson of Raymond; sister, Irene Whippe of Raymond, Emily Scholtz of Topac, AZ and Dorothy King of Epping; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
In His Life: He is survived his best friends, Bob and Barbara Ironfield of Windham. He was predeceased by his grandson, Colin R. Smith in 2003 and his brother, Charlie Jameson in 2002.
His Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday Feb. 2nd from 10-11AM at the Cremation Society of NH, 243 Hanover St, Manchester. A graveside service with military honors will be held on Friday at 12:00PM at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen. Donations in his memory can be made to t he charity of oneâs choice.
