Richard A. Mauser died at his home in Londonderry, New Hampshire on July 3rd, 2023, surrounded by his family. The family held a private Celebration of Life in his memory, and cremation has taken place at his request.
Richard was born on March 18, 1942 to Anthony and Mary Mauser in Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated from Parma Senior High School in 1960. He loved music and continued on to study clarinet and saxophone at Baldwin Wallace College in Berea, OH. He then attended the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston where he received his Master’s Degree. He spent most of his life in the Boston area and was a member of the Rotary Club.
In his younger years, Richard was thrilled flying his Cessna plane. He loved skiing and traveling, a passion he passed down to the younger generations. He particularly loved traveling to Turkey, with breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea. His wife, Omruye, was the love of his life. She enhanced his love of food by her appealing Mediterranean cooking. He is survived by his wife Omruye and stepson Onur Dilişen of Londonderry, NH, daughter Corinne (Dan) Janetski and grandson Camden of Southborough, MA, and sister Sandra Boysen of Sharon Center, OH.
He was very detailed, calculating, and enjoyed craftsmanship; his expertise demonstrated in homes he reconstructed and built. Richard was a great story teller and entertained people sharing his life experiences. He found no boundaries in this world. May he continue to fly high!
