RICHARD E. MULLANEY
Rick Mullaney was born on August 26, 1950 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. He was the son of E. Meredith and Richard J. Mullaney. He graduated from Portsmouth High School. After high school he joined the Air Force and served until 1971. After serving in the USAF he attended the Portsmouth NH Voc Tech College and graduated with a degree in computers. Rick was employed by Data General in Portsmouth as a computer technician. He later worked for DBC Mifco and Hampton Systems both in the computer field.
On July 21, 1984 Rick married Patricia E. Casse. He leaves his wife and four children; Roberta S. Raymond, Sandra J. Frechette, Robert E. Casse II, and Catherine A. Dorfman. He also leaves two brothers, Mark Mullaney of Colebrook, New Hampshire and Kevin Mullaney of Tampa, Florida. He leaves behind numerous grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Rick enjoyed fishing, camping, and canoeing. He also enjoyed playing his guitar and the harmonica. He leaves behind his beloved dog Hunter. Rick died after an extensive illness. In May of 2013 he entered the Glencliff Home in Glencliff, New Hampshire and was a resident there until his death on July 21, 2014. The family would like to thank Doug Kenneally and the staff of Glencliff Home for the excellent care Rick received during the time he was there.
