Richard Arthur Munn Jr., 78, of Washington, NH died December 12, 2020 following a lengthy period of declining health.
Dick was born in Pepperell, MA May 17, 1942 to Richard Arthur Sr. and Ellen Irma (Olsen) Munn. Dick was raised in Massachusetts where he began his career in plumbing after earning his GED, eventually becoming a Master Plumber with Gas and HVAC licenses. While living in Pepperell, he served as an Auxiliary Police Officer as well as a Boy Scouts Troop Leader. At the age of 33 he relocated to Pittsfield, NH where he continued his work in plumbing and served as Building Inspector to both Barnstead and Nashua. He retired in 2015.
Dick was a member of the Shriners, Elks, and Scottish Rite, and he was a Master Mason for 42 years. In retirement, Dick enjoyed playing golf, traveling around the US in his motorhome, and riding his motorcycle.
Dick is survived by his children Richard A. Munn III of Pittsfield; Joseph Delbert Munn, Vicky-Lynn Harris of Union City, OH, and Tina-Lee Huard of Derry; his brother, Roger Munn; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He was predeceased by his wife of 39 years, Donna E. (Jones) Munn, as well as his brother, Donald Munn.
