Richard
Tebbetts
Jul 30, 1948 — Sep 25, 2026
Goffstown, NH
Richard “Dick” O. Tebbetts, 78, passed away following a brief illness.
Dick was raised in New Hampshire and graduated from West High School in Manchester. He began his working career at Sanders before going on to spend 29 years with Cummings Printing. He also proudly served in the New Hampshire National Guard. Later in life, Dick moved to North Carolina, where he worked for many years as an event security guard at PNC Arena. Dick was a quiet man who never needed to be the center of attention. He was hardworking, dependable and, as those who knew and loved him would affectionately say, more than a little stubborn. He was also incredibly generous and always willing to lend a hand or help someone he cared about. He enjoyed car racing, football and hockey, but family was always especially important to him.
Dick deeply loved his wife, Carolyn, and treasured the life they shared throughout their 57 years of marriage. His extended family also meant a great deal to him, including his in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Dick was predeceased by his mother and father, his sisters, and his brother. He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Carolyn, as well as his in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, who will carry with them many special memories of him.
Dick will be remembered for his quiet nature, strong work ethic, generosity and devotion to the people he loved. He may not have been a man of many words, but those who knew him never had to question how much he cared. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family and all who knew him.
In accordance with Dick’s wishes, there will be no services. Assisting the family with arrangements is the Cremation Society of NH, Manchester. To view Richard's Online Tribute, send condolences to the family, or for more information, visit www.csnh.com.
