Richard Treadway Tucker, of Amherst NH, died on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at the age of 57, after a long illness. Richard passed away with his beloved wife, Wendy, at his side. Richard "Rich", was born in Exeter, NH on April 18, 1959, son of the late Dr. James Cecil Tucker and Barbara Covington Hodgdon.
Rich graduated from Exeter High School in 1978, where he excelled academically and in athletics and music. He was a master electrician and woodworker who built and remodeled fine homes. He also created hand crafted kayaks. Rich was an avid member of the Porsche Club of America and was an instructor in the club's driver education program.
Richard is survived his wife, Wendy Wollison, of Amherst, NH; his step-children Bruce Wollison, of Boston, MA, and Chelsea Wollison, of Poultney, VT. He is also survived by his mother, Barbara Hodgdon of Ann Arbor, MI; his step-mother, Janet Tucker, of Exeter NH; and by siblings, Robert Tucker of Durham; David Tucker of Kittery Pt., ME; Sarah (Tucker) Ayers of East Kingston; and Samuel Tucker of Cape Elizabeth, ME. Survivers also include four nephews and one niece.
His family will celebrate Richard's life at later date.
