Among the gathering of family and close friend, forty-three year old Rick Toomey died peacefully leaving many grieving hearts. Rick was a man who was deeply loved and who was respected by everyone. Rick will never be forgotten. The reason Rick was so loved by so many was because he himself knew how to love and share his life. We will all miss him. Rick spent most of his childhood in Tewksbury, MA where he made life long friends, Bobby, Brian, Charlie, John and Ray. He was very active in neighborhood activities. As treasurer of the South Tewksbury Boys Club, he helped organize Block parties to raise money for Muscular Dystrophy and trips to Gloucester beaches for the club. He eventually moved to Warren, NH until he moved to Nashua, NH where he enjoyed spending time with friends and on his computer. He developed a web sites for himself and for his son. He was a bit of a photo nut, never without his camera. He amassed an extensive library of photos of friends and family. His two children survive him, Sadie (Toomey) Smith of Nashua, and Ryan Toomey of Plymouth as well as, a sister, Glennie, four brothers, Jack, Tom, Dave and Steven, his parents John and Glenda Toomey six nephews and two nieces. His life partner, Gene will never forget him nor will his former wife, Darlene.
