Rita Capistran

Rita Capistran, 93, of Lexington, MA died suddenly on May 5, 2014 at the Brigham & Women's Hospital. She was born on October 26, 1920 and was the daughter of the late Ludger and Eugenie (Paranteau) Capistran.
Rita was a registered nurse that worked for many years as a nurse supervisor as well as a nurse practitioner at St. Peter's General Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ and MA. She was a very devoted and caring person who enjoyed helping people. For the past 7 years, she resided at Youville Place Assistance Living Facility. Her comfort and care was provided by an incredible loving, and compassionate staff. Rita will be lovingly remembered for her quick wit and sense of humor. She will be greatly missed.
Members of her family include her sister in law Rita Capistran of Rhode Island, several nieces and nephews, and her wonderful and faithful friend, Estelle Lombardi of Quincy, MA. In addition to her parents, Rita is predeceased by her brother Walter Capistran and her sister Sr. Theresa Capistran.
A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, May 10 at 10am, at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church 172 Belmont Street Manchester, NH. Interment will be private.
