Rita Desrosiers

Rita A. Desrosiers, 86, of 7 Krystal Drive in Hudson died suddenly on Wednesday evening, September 18, 2002 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Nashua. Mrs. Desrosiers was born on June 2, 1916 in Methuen, MA daughter of the late Alcid and Rose (Belair) Theriault. In the late 1960's she worked as a dietitian at Lawrence General Hospital. Mrs. Desrosiers and her husband, Alphonse, moved to Tampa, Florida in the early 1970's where they resided for 16 years before moving to back to New England. They moved to Hudson in 1994. They would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in January. Family members include; her husband, Alphonse A. Desrosiers; one son Alan and his wife Carol Desrosiers of Windham; two brothers, Albert Theriault of Haverhill, MA and Emil Theriault of Methuen, MA; one sister, Theresa Rupkey of Florida; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Doris Desrosiers. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, September 23rd at 11:00 AM at St. John Evangelist Church on Library Street in Hudson with Father Jack Horan officiating.
