Rita Finocchiaro

Rita Angela (Rozzi) Finocchiaro 82, died Monday, August 29, 2016 at Bedford Hills Center in NH with her loved ones by her side. She was born October 28, 1933 in Lawrence MA. She was the daughter of Almerindo and Hilda Rozzi of Salem NH.

She attended Salem NH Schools. She enjoyed working as a home health care provider in Maine and Florida. She loved swimming, and could swim for hours. She also enjoyed knitting, sewing and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her children Alfred J Finocchiaro and wife, Alice, Thomas J. Finocchiaro and wife, Amy, Lisa A. Jamieson and husband Randall, Michael D Finocchiaro and wife, Lisa and Mark A. Finocchiaro. 13 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren, brothers Phillip Rozzi and wife, Judith, Anthony (Tony) Rozzi and wife Maureen, John Rozzi and wife Brenda and her sister Maria Contarino; plus many nieces and nephews. In addition to her late husband Thomas J Finocchiaro she was predeceased by her soul mate Robert Vermeulen.

A celebration of her life will be held on Friday Sept 2, 2016, 6pm at the Derry/Salem Elks Club, 39 Shadow Lake Rd. Salem, NH.
