Rita Labrecque

Rita (Gibeau) Labrecque, age 91, of Boscawen, NH died at her home on Friday, March 12, 2010. She was the wife of the late Armand Labrecque. She was born March 10, 1919 in Concord, NH, daughter of the late Louis and Harriet (Cassavaugh) Gibeau. Rita was employed at the Brezner Tannery in Penacook for over thirty years. She enjoyed knitting, crossword puzzles and playing cards with her family and friends. She took several cruises and enjoyed travel in her camper. She is survived by six children: Joan Miner and her late husband Ernest of Andover, NH, Roseanna Matott and her husband Clifford, Sr of Penacook, NH, Diane Barker and her husband Donald of Boscawen, NH, Suzanne Rayno and her husband Richard of Boscawen, NH, Armand Labrecque and his wife Margaret of Northfield, NH, Lu-Ann Lamb and her husband Harold, Sr of Boscawen, NH; 14 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Geneva Merrill of Boscawen, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at 10 in the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 9 Bonney Street, Penacook, NH. Burial will follow in the Penacook Calvary Cemetery. Special thanks to her grandson Stephen Miner who was her caregiver for many years.
