Rita M. Proulx

Rita M. (St. Pierre) Proulx passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH, on September 8th, 2021.

Rita was born on August 16th, 1945, to and raised by the late Louis and Antionette St. Pierre in Manchester, returning to Manchester's West Side after spending fondly remembered years in Deerfield, NH, with her children.

Rita was employed by Hillsborough County Nursing Home, providing care and comfort to so many, retiring after three decades of service.

Rita is pre-deceased by her sons Louis and Albert, first husband Carlton Braley Sr., brother Louis St. Pierre, and sisters Marie, Irene, and Pauline.

Rita is survived by her husband Andrew Proulx, her four children; Carlton and daughter-in-law Doreen Braley of Goffstown, Marilyn and son-in-law Frank Dushanek of Goffstown, Geraldine McGrevey and partner Lanzo Martin of Manchester, David Braley and partner Katherine Ellis, nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews

A gathering of friends and family will be held on Friday, October 8th from 10AM - 12PM at The Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester. Interment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
