Barrar, Robert L., 85, of Nashua, NH, died August 15, 2005, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Nashua, NH. Born in Malden, MA to the late Happie (Wells) and Ralph Barrar, he was an office manager at (among others) Bedford Farms Dairy, Bedford, MA. Bob was a World War II Army Veteran, a member of the Golden Rule Masonic Lodge in Lynnfield, and Board member of the AARP, Nashua, NH. He was married to Louise C. (Smith) Barrar for nearly 65 years. He is survived by her and his daughters Roberta Law and her husband, James, of The Netherlands; Judith McGrath of Sarasota, Florida; his son William W. Barrar and his wife, Danielle, of Merrimack, NH; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Ralph Barrar of Somerville, MA. There will be a Memorial Reception on Thursday, August 18 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon with a Memorial Service at 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover St, Manchester, NH. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery in Saugus, MA. Expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to the First Baptist Church of Wakefield, 8 Lafayette St, Wakefield, MA 01880.
