Robert "Bobby" S. Blomquist

Robert Stephen Blomquist, 73, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2018.

Bobby was born on Sept. 13, 1944, at Chelsea Naval Hospital in Chelsea, Mass., the son of the late Robert Carl Blomquist and Mary Alice (Foody) Blomquist.

He is survived by his four children, Stephanie, Robin, Marci and Daniel; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Bobby is the oldest brother of seven children, Lynn, Matthew, Diane, Bruce, Kevin and Debra. It is the family's hope that one of his favorites, Leo A. Sweeney, will be there to greet him, and guide him on his new journey.

Bobby joined the Navy after high school from Middletown, R.I. The family honors his two tours in Vietnam, and three honorable medals as a Boatswain's in the Pacific. Thank you Bobby for your service.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing on Passaconaway Road, in Conway, N.H., and he loved watching the Red Sox and Patriots with Leo. One of his many past times was to see how fast he could make it to the Height of the Land on the Kanc.

Everyone who remembers Bobby please perform a random act of kindness in his name, and honor our veterans.
