Robert "Bob" Alexander Barr, 81, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on May 3, 2024, after a period of declining health. He was a lifelong resident of Littleton, New Hampshire.

Robert was born on November 21, 1942, to John and Alice (Corey) Barr, of Littleton.

He graduated from Littleton High School in 1960. After he graduated, Bob served his country in the U.S. Army, prior to the Vietnam War. He was stationed in France.

After his time in the Army, Bob worked at Hitchiners until his retirement.

Bob was an avid outdoorsman.  He loved hiking and fishing. He also loved his cabin in Vermont where he found peace in the solitude of the forest. He also loved dancing, especially the polka. He had a great sense of humor and told jokes to all his friends.

Bob never married and did not have any children. He was predeceased by his parents, his brother, Donald Barr, and other family members.

Robert is survived by his niece, Allison Barr and her sons, Yamil and Kamel Lopez; nephew, Joseph, cousins, and other relatives including, Steve Simon and John Simon. He also is survived by his special friend, Nancy Rowe and many other cherished friends.

A Memorial for Robert and his brother Donald will be held at a later date.
