Robert 'Bob' Joseph King

Robert Joseph King, 62, died on the 3rd of April, 2025. He was born on September 11th, 1962 in Malden, Massachusetts and the son of Howard J King and Dorothy King. He was the husband of Karen Kimball-King. They were married on April 24th, 1992 in Haverhill, Massachusetts.

Bob grew up in Malden, Massachusetts; attending St. Joseph’s and playing hockey for the Malden Youth League, followed by the Northeast Vocational School in Wakefield, Massachusetts. Known for his strong work ethic, he took pride and dedication in his craft for being hands on, most notably for CTI as a machinist and then Draper Labs in Cambridge, Massachusetts for over 25 dedicated years, becoming Foreman of the Machine Shop. His resourcefulness played a role in everything he did.

Beyond his career, Bob found his greatest joy in being a father. He was a present, loving, and supportive dad who cherished spending time and creating memories with road trips and fishing trips with his sons and close friends in good company. His easy going nature, kindness, and sense of humor left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. He will be remembered for his loyalty, warmth, and quiet strength that was carried throughout his life.

He is survived by his two beloved sons, Stephen Robert King and Patrick Ryan King; his brother Howard King Jr. and his former wife Dawn King, his cousins, nieces, and nephews, and his cat, Kelly.
