Robert P. Brown

Robert P. Brown, 76, of Concord, NH, passed away on March 14, 2025.

Bob was born on September 19, 1948, in Lansing, MI, to Robert and Jeanne (Palmer) Brown. After graduating from high school, Bob attended Lansing Community College, where he began to hone his craft and natural artistic talent while earning a bachelor’s degree. He later turned his skills into a career by starting his own sign painting business, where he became known for his meticulous attention to detail and dedication to his work.

Bob's interests extended far beyond his art. He was an avid fan of college basketball and professional football, rarely missing a game on TV. In his younger years, Bob was also a skilled volleyball player. Those who played games with him knew his competitive side, especially when it came to Euchre, a card game where he was a fierce and focused player.

Bob leaves behind his loving wife, Deborah Green, who was a constant support in his life. He is also survived by his cherished daughter, Anna Benevides who shared his love of art, her husband Eric, and his beloved grandchild, Zack who shares Bob's quiet thoughtful nature, all of Gilford, NH. His sons, Isaac and Michael Brown, live in Florida. Bob's kids all hold fond memories of passionately playing games of Euchre, beach volleyball trips and in Isaac's and Michael's case, watching football with their dad. He will be deeply missed by his sisters, Sarah and Mary, both of Michigan. Bob is also survived by his former wife, Connie Brown, with whom he shared many happy years.

Bob built a life that reflected both his artistry, gentle patience with his children, and an animated life with friends, leaving a legacy of love and laughter for all who knew him. Though Bob has passed, his influence, his love for sports, and his art will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends. Rest in peace, Bob. You will be greatly missed. The Cremation Society of NH will be assisting the family with arrangements. To view an online memorial, leave a message of condolence, or for more information please visit www.csnh.com.
