Robert H Bryant

Robert “Bob” Hanson Bryant, 91, of Goffstown, NH (formerly of North Reading, MA and Clifton Park and Queensbury, NY) died Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at Elliot Hospital after a brief illness.

Born in Boston, MA on December 10, 1930, Bob was the son of Walker and Lillian Bryant.  He attended Saugus Public Schools and graduated from Boston University in 1952.  Mr. Bryant served in the US Navy from 1953 to 1956 ending his career as a Full Lieutenant.  He worked at General Electric as a Purchasing Manager in Lynn, MA and Schenectady, NY for his entire career. 

During their marriage Bob and his wife Margery enjoyed many happy years spending time and making memories with their family and friends downhill skiing at King Pine, NH and boating on Ossipee Lake and Lake George. Bob was a dedicated husband to Margery and cared for her while she suffered from a long illness until she passed in 2006.   Bob was able to enjoy traveling in the latter part of his retirement, and took many cruises to Europe, Alaska and Bermuda with his close friend Mona.

He was predeceased by his wife Margery of 53 years, and his brother Richard and is survived by his two daughters, Ann Paicos and her husband Kevin of Webster, MA; Jane Cremeno and her husband Paul of Chichester NH; and his two sons Robert Bryant and wife Betsy of Sanbornton, NH; David Bryant and his wife Katharine of Fayetteville, GA, seven grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

Services: Family and close friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Friday, August 5, 2022, 10:30am, at The Cremation Society of NH, 172 King Street in Boscawen, NH; followed by a Graveside Honor Ceremony at 12:00pm at The NH State Veteran’s Cemetery in Boscawen, NH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The NH Food Bank or to The Alzheimer’s Association.
