Passed away peacefully on June 12th with his family by his side.
He leaves behind his wife, Joan, his son Matthew and his wife, Christina. His daughter-in-law Emily Harwood Cashen. He was predeceased by his son, Benjamin Ward Cashen.
He leaves behind his mother, Helen Trefry, his sister and husband Jane and Joseph De Simone, sister-in-law Janet Bingham and Warren Bingham and sister-in-law Kathia Ward.
He grew up in Saugus MA and graduated from C.W. Post College in Long Island.
He touched many lives as a Social Worker in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. He enjoyed spending his time on the Coast of Maine and California with his family.
The family is grateful for the support and love received over the last few months. Memorial donations in his memory may be made to Rockingham County VNA , 137 Epping Road, Exeter NH03077
