Robert Corrigan, 76, of Jaffrey, NH, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2026 after a lengthy illness with Alzheimer’s.

Born in Providence, RI, he was the son of Dorothy and Robert F. Corrigan. He was known for his kind heart, dry sense of humor, and warm smile.

He was a proud Army veteran and later served as a police officer at the Nashua Police Department. He enjoyed nature, was a frequent hiker, and found peace by the ocean. An avid animal lover, he adored his dogs and cats and always had them by his side.

He is survived by his daughter, Darci Mercado and her husband Jose; siblings, Steve Corrigan, Sean Corrigan, Barbara Young, and Nancy Buchanan. He was predeceased by his wife Susan Corrigan, brother, Matthew Corrigan, and sister, Debra Smith. He will be deeply missed by his daughter and family.

SERVICES: A memorial gathering will be held at Cremation Society of NH, 26 Kinsley Street in Nashua on Saturday, March 28, 2026 from 2-3pm, a memorial service will immediately follow gathering at 3pm. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the MSPCA.
