Robert Demers

Robert G. Demers "Bob", 68 of Bedford, NH died on March 27, 2021. He was born in Manchester, NH on September 23,1952 to Ivan and Berthe (Richer) Demers.

He was educated at St. Marie's High School in Manchester and then joined the United States Navy. He was a proud disabled Navy Veteran.

He was a loving husband and father who enjoyed music, playing guitar, and watching professional tennis. He very much liked learning about history. His favorite place he loved to visit was Charleston, SC. Charleston is full of history, beautiful scenery and many memories of several family vacations he took with his family.

He was predeceased by his father Ivan Demers in 1994 and his sister Sr. Janet Demers in 2019.

His mother Berthe, recently passed away on May 19th of this year.

Surviving members include his wife Sara Demers of Bedford, his son Ryan Demers of Hudson, daughter Kelly Capps and her husband Daniel Capps of Myrtle Beach, SC; his brother Raymond Demers and wife Lorraine of Manchester; his sister Suzanne Piotrowski and husband Robert of Manchester as well as nieces and nephews and a great-grandnephew.

The family would like to thank the staff at Bedford Falls and Elliott Hospital for their great care.

SERVICES: A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 10th from 2p-3p at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover St. Manchester.
