Robert A Deslauriers

Robert "Bob" A. Deslauriers died on February 5, 2021, at Wentworth Douglas Hospital in Dover, New Hampshire, with his wife, Dottie holding his hands.

He was born to Harvey and Alma Deslauriers on June 26, 1946, in Whitinsville, Massachusetts.

He attended school in Whitinsville and upon graduating joined the National Guard 181st Engineer Battalion out of Webster, Massachusetts. Bob went on after serving our country to own and operate several businesses. The last business was National Waste Management, a business out of Sutton, Massachusetts, until retiring in 2010.

Bob loved being outdoors: he loved boating, fishing, swimming, skiing, ice skating, hiking, snowmobiling, four wheeling, and hunting. Bob and Dottie loved to find a quiet place on a lake and sit and talk about future plans. After retiring, they did a lot of traveling in their RV and cruising around the world.

Bob's parents and a sister passed away several years ago. He was the third child in the family of seven children with wonderful parents and strong values.
He is survived by his wife Dottie, children, grandchildren, brothers and sisters all over the country, with many nieces and nephews.

Bob was a deacon for two terms at New Life Church in Raymond, New Hampshire. He was also a board member of Faith Bible College in Charleston, Maine.
Bob loved talking with everyone he would meet, including everyone who worked in the hospital, about how much Jesus loved them and gave His life for them. He always gave a bible and answered questions to help people understand the 'why's' and 'who's', and the promises of life. He was a kind, caring, gentle, and wise man of God who was well loved.
