Robert L. Frawley, of Hooksett, passed away on July 26, 2015, at the Community Hospice House, Merrimack, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on June 28, 1936 in Cranston, RI to the late Doris E. and Earl T. Frawley, Robert married and divorced before coming to NH with his two sons, Robert, Jr and Dennis in 1961. He loved to roller skate and met his second wife, Carol "Ginny" Gardner, at the Bedford Rollaway. They married and moved to Hooksett in June 1964. Bob was a Committeeman for Cub Scout Troop 292 in Hooksett. He was a Mason, raised in 1991 in the Washington Lodge in Manchester, and a member of Ransford Adah Chapter of Eastern Star. He became a Shriner in Bektash in 2003. He was in the Drum Corps and was a Short Shriner, and once drove a little car for the Oriental Band. An avid motorcyclist he belonged to Gold Wing Road Riders for a number of years, holding office for Chapter I in Manchester. He also belonged to Masonic Motorcycle Club International, where he made many friends. He worked for Chicopee Mills, Pepsi Bottling, Genest Bakery and eventually fulfilled his dream, by owning and operating his own trucking company. He delivered freight for Salem Motor Trans in Salem, NH and then obtained a contract for the US Postal System and delivered mail between Manchester and Marlborough for ten years. He retired in 2001 and took the summer to travel across the country. In September of that year he returned to the second love of his life, trucking. He went to work for Liberty International Truck delivering trucks. Bob enjoyed camping with his friends. He enjoyed many years of volunteering at the Bektash Bingo in Concord. Bob was happiest when he was contributing to whatever endeavor he was involved with. Being useful kept him going.

He is survived by his wife, Carol "Ginnie" Frawley, three children, Robert, Jr., Hooksett, NH; Dennis, West Lawn, PA; and Carol Durham, Hooksett, NH; nine grandchildren and 3 gr-grandchildren, one sister, NH and many nieces and nephews.

ARRANGEMENTS: A Memorial Gathering will be held in the Cremation Society of NH, 243 Hanover St., Manchester, on Friday, July 31 from 3:00 to 4:00P.M. with a Masonic Service at 4:00P.M. Friends and relatives invited. A reception will be announced at the gathering. A private committal in the Martin's Ferry Cemetery will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, expression of sympathy may be made in Bob's memory to the Shriner's Hospital for Children, 516 Carew St. Springfield, MA 01104.
