Dorothy Fritch passed away peacefully on October 11, 2025. She was 90 years old. Just weeks later, her beloved husband Robert G. Fritch Sr. joined her on November 6, 2025. He was 92. Together Dorothy and Robert built a life filled with love, family, and shared passions.

Dorothy had a creative spirit and a love for making things with her hands. Cooking, sewing, jewelry making, gardening, spinning yarn, and knitting were some of her many endeavors. Playing a variety of string instruments, including both classical and electric guitars, brought her great joy. Robert was a man of many interests. These included hunting, sailing, and piloting planes. After serving as a Corporal in the US Army, he worked on technology involving missile systems. He went on to IBM in California in the early tech era. Later moving back to the East Coast, he worked for Control Data corporation as a business manager. In his retirement years, Robert enjoyed rebuilding antique tractors and working in the garden. He collected model planes and tractors as well as cameras. Photography was another pursuit in his later years.Together Dorothy and Robert enjoyed a long retirement in Barnstead, New Hampshire gardening and restoring the farmhouse where Dorothy was born. They hosted many large family gatherings with their children and grandchildren.

 They are survived by their daughter Marilyn Pechonis and her husband Stephen; their son Robert Fritch Jr. and his wife Kathy; their daughter Diane Simmons and her husband Lanny. They were predeceased by their son Edward Fritch. They are also survived by their grandchildren Jesse and Sarah Kinnane, and Sebastian Beckett. As well as their great grandchildren Avery Kinnane and Aniah Beckett. Dorothy is survived by her sister Mary Royce, and her brother Charles Bily. She was predeceased by her brother Eugene Bily and sister Eleanor Dawson. Robert is survived by his sister Lorraine Kirchoff. He was predeceased by his brothers Edward, Vincent, William, and Christopher Fritch, as well as his sister Dorothy Bockelken.

A private service will be held on August 24, 2026 at Riverview Cemetery in Barnstead, New Hampshire. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dementia Society of America.
