Robert Paul Hatch, age 69, passed peaceful at home in Littleton, NH, on Wednesday, January 3rd, 2024, surrounded by immediate family. Robert was born on August 17th, 1954, in Concord, NH, the son of Paul Omer Hatch Sr. and Faith Constance Hatch nee Wilson.
Robert was married to Dawn Marie Hatch nee Peters for 32 years. They were married on October 12th, 1991 in Contoocook, NH.
Robert was a 1972 graduate of Concord High School. He worked most of his adult life in the Concord area as a contractor and had his own business, Hatch Quality Remodeling, until his retirement at an early age due to early onset Alzheimer’s.
Robert, known by his friends and teammates as Hatchy and Robbie by his siblings, was an avid sports and outdoor enthusiast. He thoroughly enjoyed softball, golf, and snowmobiling and was a member of various teams, leagues, and clubs. An active participant and eager supporter of his children’s school sport careers, Robert was always coaching and mentoring their school teams.
Robert and his wife, Dawn, moved to the North Country after retirement, where he enjoyed the snowmobiling, hiking, and kayaking in his own back yard.
He was a warm, gregarious personality who loved to laugh and play with children of all ages. He volunteered his time and talents as long as he was capable with various groups and associations such as Meals on Wheels, the Littleton Hospital, and building bridges and clearing trails with local snowmobile clubs.
Robert's parents, his infant brother, Jeffrey P. Hatch, and his niece, Laura Adrianne Hatch, daughter of brother, Paul Hatch, were there to greet him on the other side.
Robert is survived by his wife, Dawn and his legacy in his daughter, Jaclyn Hatch, son, Kyle Hatch, and his grandchildren, Morgan and Dylan Monette.
He also leaves behind his sister, Christina Hatch Marden, her husband, Brian, and their daughter, Rachel; his brother Paul Hatch Jr., his wife Diane, and their children, Amanda Hatch and her daughter, Lilly, Jennifer Hatch, Paul III and LaTania Hatch, and their daughter, Lailah, and granddaughter, Kassadi Hatch, daughter of Laura Hatch; his brother, Jon Hatch, his wife Debbie, and his daughter, Lisa Hatch; his brother, Jerry Hatch, his wife Joani and their children, Patrick Heffernan, his wife, Bridget and his son, Colm, Anni Heffernan and her daughter, Sunny, and Will Hatch and his son, Wilder; his brother, Joseph Hatch, his wife Karen and their daughter and Robert’s special goddaughter, Mikayla.
Stepdaughter Nicki Perkins and her children Josh, Kelsi, and Cole will fondly remember her former stepdad. Robert also enjoyed and cherished his remaining loving aunts and cousins with whom he spent many close and happy childhood adventures.
On his 70th birthday, there will be a Celebration of Life ceremony Saturday August 17th, 2024, at his home in Littleton, NH.
