Robert E. Healey

Robert E. Healey MERRIMACK, NH – Robert Elliot Healey, 70, of Merrimack, NH and formally of New Bedford, MA, died August 8, 2008 at Elliot Hospital in Manchester, New Hampshire, after a brief illness. He was the widow of Ellen Patricia (Pat) Healey. He was born in New Bedford, MA and lived his entire life in New Bedford until 5 years ago when he moved to Merrimack, NH. Mr. Healey wintered with his wife until this year in Seebring, FL. He was a communicant of St Mary's Church while living in New Bedford. Mr. Healey was a graduate of New Bedford High School and received both a Bachelors and Masters Degree of Engineering and Business Management from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. Mr. Healey was Executive VP of Human Resources at Commonwealth Electric before his retirement 15 yrs. ago. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. Survivors include three sons: Robert V. Healey of Bloomfield, CT, Steven J. Healey of Milford, MA and David T. Healey of Bellingham, MA, as well as four grandchildren.
